How to fill this in
- Review each sub-topic and choose Confident, Needs practice, or Not started.
- This is not graded. Its purpose is to identify the most useful starting point for your personalized learning plan.
- Anything marked Needs practice appears automatically in Your Practice List. Describe the first step where your confidence drops.
"M1.1.4 — I can add and multiply fractions on their own, but I am unsure which step to do first when one calculation mixes brackets, division and addition."
"Quadratics are hard."
Precise notes help the tutor choose a focused worked example instead of repeating an entire topic.

A right answer with no working scores badly on Paper 2. A wrong answer with clear, correct working still earns method marks. So the test for "I can do this" is not can I get the answer — it is:
Can I write Given that… → name the operation before I do it → one step per line, equals signs aligned → a Check line → ∴ and a boxed final answer with its units?
If you cannot do that yet, choose “Needs practice.”
Where the algebra spine shows up
Polynomial fluency, quadratics, indices, surds, and logarithms run underneath coordinate geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics. Strengthening this algebra spine protects marks across every section.
